HEADLINER - Chris Barnes

Appearing September 10, 2008

Barnes can be best described as a high-energy comic that will take an audience and keep them laughing as he interprets his experiences of life. Barnes has worked and laughed with such people as John Mendoza, JJ Jimmy Walker, Andrew Dice Clay, Sinbad, Bill Cosby, and many others. It's no surprise Barnes has become a national headliner, working in such clubs as Dangerfield's in New York City; Rascal's in New Jersey; Zanies in Chicago; Chaplin's in Detroit; Comedy Cafe in Milwaukee and many others throughout the country.

 Opener - Andy Woodhull

Appearing September 10 2008

Andy Woodhull

Andy grew up in Elkhart, Indiana, famous for being the motor home capitol of the world. He reluctantly left this RV Mecca, and went to college in St. Louis where he studied geology. During an oral presentation on plate tectonics, Andy realized he cared more about making his classmates laugh than getting a good grade. He received a C for the assignment, but easily got the best laughs out of anyone in the class. Since then Andy has been performing comedy across the Midwest, winning over audiences with stories of college and growing up in Indiana.

HEADLINER - John Bush

Appearing September 17, 2008

John Bush

John's rock solid comedy show covers it all!

From his childhood relocation from Hawaii to Minnesota to his UFO sighting in New York City, this thrill ride is filled with rich characters, spot-on impressions and even a disgruntled squirrel.  John has preformed for audiences of all shapes and sizes. Whether it's opening for Howie Mandel at Ceaser's Palace or tickling some Irish ribs in Dublin, John isn't stingy when he gives out the laughs.

Credits include:  The Thomas Crown Affair, Law and Order, Conan O'Brien, and HBO.

Opener - Derek Vana

Appearing September 17, 2008

Derek Vana

Since his first open mic done on a dare, Derek has transformed himself from a curious looking oddity onstage into the "tattooed boy next door." Whether he’s talking about his relationship with his wife, his tattoos, or even why Taco Bell tastes so good, Derek puts his own unique spin on everyday topics. From start to finish, Derek Vana will have everyone in the room laughing and wanting more.

HEADLINER - Andy Ritchie

Appearing September 24, 2008

Andy Ritchie

Andy Ritchie's comedy is a masterful combination of abstract thought with the classic stand up format.  You won't hear any jokes about leaving the toilet seat up, but...if you're lucky, you just might hear about the dark history of Mr. Peanut

Quoted in Esquire Magazine as having "The funniest joke they've ever heard", Andy has slayed audiences from the top alternative rooms in Los Angeles to Des Moines, Iowa, and beyond.  Come see Andy put on an air-tight, completely original, hysterically funny performance!!

OPENER - Ron Partee

Appearing September 24 2008

Ron Partee

Be sure to catch Ron Partee, a comedian from Detroit. He's been described as "truly gifted in the art of quick wit and improvisation" and "a seasoned professional stand-up comedian." Ron has performed across the United States and was a finalist in the Appollo Comedy Hour Talent Search and the winner of the first and second rounds of NBC's "So You Think You're Funny" Comedy Competition.
